Defination of Mantra

The meaning of the word mantra is cogitation, science, a branch of learning and knowledge. The habit of cogitation is conferred by the power of the mantra. When we try to put a thought repeatedly into our mind, it becomes a part of our nature, Hence with the power of the mantra, the mind is moulded accordingly. Alongwith, it is also called that science and faculty of learning by which energy is awakened. It give that knowledge and enlightenment by which ignorance and darkness can be dispelled. By devotion to it, such a change occurs within the life – force by which divine power and joy starts manifesting of the many special aspects of the process of the chant of the mantra, the maximum lies in the 'blast' (or sound) produced. This 'blast' means the extraordinary influence of the special sound in God's element.

How to Worship Mantras

Defination
Mantra is a complete set of words from the Vedas attributed to the deities or Devas. Mantras have come down to us from our Maharishis, saints, Sadhus and yogis who after recitation of Mantras for several thousand years guided us to follow them. Mantras for several thousand years guided us to follow them. Mantras are single or strung together syllables.

Mantras are used in Tantrik sadhanas or rituals, whispered or chanted in different combinations and contexts, setting up patterns of vibrations. One must learn to pronounce them properly as well as to understand their meaning. Hindus believe that god, good health, good fortune and victory over one 's enemies can be attained by chanting the right mantra. According to the puranas, Shastras and Maharishis, Mantra is the only way to attain one's desires, provided one recites them with complete faith and the prescribed methods and rules. The recitation of words of mantras should be pure and correct in order to create the right vibrations.
Mantra sadhana is very difficult. If during practice some drawbacks remain, it can inflict losses. Without faith and belief, such practice should be avoided. Guidance of a competent Guru or preceptor to quite necessary to attain success.


Guidelines for
Spiritual Practioner
A sadhaka is the person who recites the Mantras, meditates and performs all the rites to attain sidhi through Mantras.
The sadhaka should observe some rules and regulations very strictly while practicing Mantra Shakti.
Although there is so much importance in the power of the mantra, all are not able to achieve that supremacy and they harbour continuous doubts regarding its success. The reason for this is lack of faith and confidence. when a person does not develop the pure and competent character–essential for making profound sentiments innate in the mantra – the mantra gives only ordinary results. One does not get any extra benefits with it. The work of raising a person to a high level begins with truthfulness in speech and this conduct, simplicity and pleasantness and this spreads to all the activity in life, If the "antahkaran" is consistently loaded with the dirt of wrong type of food, conduct, life – style and speech then howsoever good the mantra and the effort for the mantra, it will not be able to produce any effect.

Guidelines are provided for the Spiritual Practioner

Complete faith unflinching loyalty backed by a clear heart towards the deity is required for Sadhana.
 
 
Do not start Mantra Shakti under any pressure.
 
 
Trust in God, Cosmic love, kinduess and patience should be the virtues of a Sadhaka.
 
 
Avoid harsh speech, lust, anger, restless thoughts, evil company and cgoism.
 
 
Do not get emotional. On the other hand to be devout is good
 
 
Mantras on hearsay should be avoided as they must be authentic
 
 
Sadhana without any specific aim bears fruits early.
 
 
In case you see any miracle, do not fear. Keep your WILL POWER strong and continue your Sadhana. All troubles will vanish.
 
 
Brahmacharya or celibacy should be observed during sadhana.
 
 
In case of failure, do not lose heart. Try it again and again and you will be crowned with success.

How Mantras are Useful

All our problems self – created, Usually they are the out come of our deeds (Karmas) and One's subconscious mind can help to find the solution through meditation and recitation of Mantras.
Purity of thoughts, words and deeds, sincerity and deep seated belief in repeating mantras systematically and without any stress or strain on the brain or body, are the key – notes for the efficacy of Mantras.
Concentrate and meditate without having any of your problems and desires in mind. The Mantra should be recited softly so as to be audible only to the person Concerned and not to others. Mantras should be recited in a pleasing musical tone which will help in concentration.
Continuous sadhana will enable the sadhaka to find solutions to the problems, attaining peace of mind and reducing mental strain. The Mantras must be avoided. If distorted or recited incorrectly, the power of the mantra is lost and it ceases to have the desired beneficial effect.
It is very clear that success does not depend on a single element. It requires extensive support. Weather it is material or spiritual goal, in each field extensive support is required for achievement of the purpose. In the spiritual endeavors for spiritual upliftment, success with mantra is also achieved only after fulfillment of certain supportive requirements. There is power in proven mantras – with their strength many types of miracles and blessings can be achieved. For achieving them, spiritual endeavour is required and spiritual endeavour is not dimensional process. It consists of four sections or steps. There It consists of four success of any mantra – one is the mantra itself where the energy of the word is utilised, second is mental concentration, third is excellence of character and fourth unshakable faith in the desired goal.
